They started out as eggs and then once they hatched, they were tiny caterpillars that grew very quickly.
Each day, the baby caterpillars needed to munch on butterfly milkweed. These caterpillars sure were hungry!
The baby caterpillars grew from tiny to large and then finally became butterflies. It was a miraculous transformation to behold!
